Around The Island in 7 Days

Find yourself in the boots of the famous explorer Phileas Fogg to explore this enchanted island in 7 days before you take up your next adventure.
Find out what makes this destination unlike any and discover of the essence of Sri Lanka.

Start the tour from Negambo a fishing town close to Muthurajawela Wet Lands. Then head out to Sigiriya and Dambulla and be dazzled by ancient architecture and paintings. Take up on a scenic journey to the tranquil mountain retreat of Ella and explore the town Nuwara Eliya which is resembles of an old English town. Lastly visit the herds of elephant and other wild animals while on safari in the Yala or Bundala National Park

DAY 01: ARRIVAL TRANSFER TO NEGOMBO

On arrival welcome by a Travel Lama representative and transfer to Negombo. Relaxation in Negombo. An afternoon boat rides in Negombo’s 15th century Dutch Canal and have a glimpse on local life plus evening bird watching experience in Muthurajawela Wet Lands.

DAY 02: NEGOMBO - SIGIRIYA

After breakfast leave for Sigiriya. Enroute visit the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage to glimpse the extra ordinary effort put on by conservationists to rehabilitate injured and orphaned Elephants of Sri Lanka. Proceed to Dambulla to visit the rock cave temples before heading to your hotel of choice in Sigiriya for the overnight stay.

DAY 03: SIGIRIYA - KANDY

After breakfast visit Sigiriya rock fortress and palace complex. Proceed to Kandy in the afternoon. Take an evening city tour of Kandy and visit Sri Dalada Maligawa where the sacred tooth relic is enshrined. Remain in Kandy for the overnight stay.

DAY 04: KANDY - NUWARA ELIYA

In the morning leave for Nuwara Eliya and check in to your hotel of choice. Visit a tea factory and take in the beautiful scenery along the way. In the afternoon take a city tour of Nuwara Eliya before returning to your hotel for the night.

DAY 05: NUWARA ELIYA – YALA

Take an early start to your day and leave for Yala with a visit to Ella enroute. Enjoy the breath-taking scenery of Ella including the nine arch railway bridge. Check in to your hotel in Yala for the overnight stay.

DAY 06: YALA - BENTOTA

The days starts early for you to take on a safari of Yala National Park or Bundala National Parks. Be on the lookout for herds of Elephants and that elusive Sri Lankan Leopard. Proceed to Bentota, enjoy the sights along the coast as you make your way. Check in to your hotel of choice for the evening at leisure and overnight stay.

DAY 07: DEPARTURE FROM BENTOTA

End your tour in the morning after breakfast with a nice cup of Ceylon Tea. You will be accompanied to the airport in time for your departure flight.
