The Best Of The West

Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Negambo

Welcomed by Travel Lama representative at the airport and head to hotel of your choice in Negambo. Visit the Costal town or stroll along the Negambo beach for the rest of your day or take a relaxing boat tour in the scenic Hamilton canal. Finally wrap up your day while enjoying the buzzling Negambo Night Life at Negambo’s many night pubs and restaurants.

Day 2: Negambo-Kalpitiya

Located in the Puttlam District some distance from Negambo Kalpitiya is primarily known for water sports, kite surfing and lots and lots of dolphins and whales. The road from Negambo to Kalpitiya has some of country’s iconic landmarks so one can expect unscheduled yet unforgettable brief visits as well. Reach Kalpitiya in time to experience the many adventures the peninsular has to offer and spend the rest of your day in Kalpitiya.

Day 3: Kalpitiya-Wilpattu

Early Breakfast and head out for a dolphin and whale watching boat ride. Explore the surrounding lagoon and later in the day head out towards Wilpattu national park for your overnight stay.

Day 4: Wilpattu-Colombo

Breakfast at hotel and head out early to a wild life safari at Wilpattu national park. It is the island’s largest national park and has a rich eco system. The national park is home to a sizeable leopard population making it a leopard watching hot spot. In the evening head out Colombo for your overnight stay.

Day 5: A Day In Colombo

Colombo offers a perfect one-day stay. With its colonial buildings, numerous museums and art galleries Colombo has various experiences to suit your every interests. Streets of Colombo are buzzling with mercantile activities and Colombo offers a vibrant night life experience too. Overnight stay in Colombo.

Day 6: Day of Departure

Tour ends after breakfast in Colombo and you will be transferred safely to the airport for your departure flight.
